Line of Sight bug?

Hello,

since Bug Report Section is locked, im posting it here. I had some duels yesterday and many of my casts canceled out of nowhere. Have a look at this short clip below.

Maybe I missed something, but your opponent quickly passes behind you, while you need to be facing your target to cast Scorch, right ?

Only in the beginning. Later, you can see, im standing on one position, as well as my opponent. It doesnt feel ''correct''. This didn't happened before.

Thats actually a great tactic against casters, nothing new.
Line of "sight" as it says you need to be facing enemy when they circle you, you can't see em.
Get more distance between the two of you.

Ill watch full video also one min.

I see what you mean. Like your char still "thinks" the opponent is running around you. Some kind of delay.
That is not normal but would requiere more testing.

I'll post another two clips soon. They were made at the 18. January (first PvP Test Session). There you can see a better difference.

Now, the cast being interrupted if the target runs to the other way you're facing mid-cast, is normal.
But.. It looked like you were also having trouble starting to cast again shortly after turning around to face him, even if he was standing still.
That's the weird part.. Seems like some delay issue on the server calculating the player positioning? That is, if you weren't just pressing escape or a /stopcasting button macro. If not, that latter situation is strange.

From what I understand, when you cast a spell the game performs a line of sight checker before you're allowed to cast a spell and then once more at the end of a cast to make sure you don't throw spells through walls when you're not supposed to. In this case it looks like it incorrectly performs another line of sight check when you mash the scorch button without checking if you finished the cast first.
