Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I mean hardcore as in permittting your toon to have no deaths. That's the way I've been doing it, deleting my toon after s/he dies for the first time and then rolling a new one and starting over. In my first few days on Nostalrius I've managed to get a toon up to level 9 with no deaths, but most toons die at level 7 or even 5. I'm starting to wonder whether this type of "hardcore" is even possible in Vanilla. Is it?

With PVP, it's probably impossible.
PVE wise, it's doable if you play it safe and grind on things 4-5 levels below you all the way to 60.
Honestly though, I don't know why'd you do that to yourself though. It wouldn't be hard, just mind-numbing.

On Nost where world PvP is pretty aggressive at times, it's not a question of if you will be deleting your toon, but when. If the goal is simply to see how far you get, then ok...but I wouldn't expect many people adapting your playstyle.
If this were a PvE server, it reminds me of the Ironman challenge (not an easy thing, requires tons of patience.)

Will not happen, abandon all hopes, avoiding dying to mobs is one thing but theres 3k to nearly 7k on at a time. I've made it many times through non-contested content without dying once but once you're about 20ish and have to make the crossover its only a matter of time before you're hunted down.

Hmm. That's a very good point. This server is PvP so it's guaranteed I'm gonna get ganked once I get to the level 20 area or even sooner. Thanks

Yes. I am also playing hardcore.

I'm playing warrior and my other rule is I must always pull 2 mobs at the same time. Get on my level.

I'm also only using white gear, because I'm so skilled at warrior I don't need stats.
