Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just copy and paste the problem from another member, because i have the same:

I've been running v3.9.0.1063, not even sure where I pulled this particular one from now I've tried so many, the scans work, splitting stacks myself before posting is easy enough.

Trouble I'm running into is eventually the addon stops recording the scan data into it's database. It works fine for a few days, then, after finishing a painfully slow full AH scan I'll see something like:

12000 auctions scanned
0 auctions added
0 auctions removed
0 auctions updated

Then when I go to post auctions the data shows as if I'd never done that full scan right beore. Can be worked around somewhat, the UiRefresh button on the posting tab to scan by single item type and update just that works fine. Just annoying that I can't do the full scans to build an effective database. Anyone else running into this?

It worked fine for weeks, no it just does not update the auctions anymore...

Hey johnc,

Another player on the forums discovered that if you break down the scan than it will save with the version that you're using.

Try to only scan Weapon, Armor, Container and Consumable on the first scan and then Trade Goods, Projectile, Quiver, Recipe, Reagent and Miscellaneous on the second scan.

Splitting does work but it does only collect like 3000 auctions. When it works it should add / update about 8000 to 12.000 auctions.

And I tried scanning only Trade Goods. It says " 5016 auctions scanned. 0 updated. 0 removed. 0 added."

I deleted my WDB and WTF Folders, reinstalled the addons from multiple sources, i don't understand what's going on really. I can't be the only one with this issue, currently?!

I also noted that if i search e.g. the category Armor -> Mail -> Shoulder manually by using the auction search button (not scan), the search button turns grey and i can not use it again unless i relog or reload UI. I guess it has something to do with that. If i do this without the auctioneer addon i do not get this issue.

I noticed that once I search for miscellaneous items under armour I can only search once and then the search button won't work unless I log out and back in again.

Could this cause it?

Yeah, by the time you posted, i edited my text. You are right i guess. Are you able to scan the AH successfully at the moment?

Edit: After some testing, it's definitly caused by auctioneer or stubby. With an older version of auctioneer i dont get the "search greyed out button bug".

Edit #2: I found a solution. I tested every version after the newest version of auctioneer that works for vanilla. The version auctioneer-3.9.0.1000 seems to be the latest version that works without this issue. Download it here: http://auctioneeraddon.com/dl/zzOld/Auc ... 0.1000.zip

Searching works.
I did a full scan and it filled the database correctly.

The issue is caused by the newest version of stubby i guess. But i will use 3.9.0.1000 now and see if it doesn't cause issues longterm. But it's still weird that the newest version (1063) worked and then stopped working and maybe worked again?! ... But whatever.
