Students/Busy people and Nostalrius

Im a med student and can afford only few hours weekly to play here, was wondering if in your opinion:
1) is there any point of playinig if i could only play, say, 6-7 hours a week? (usually friday only)
2) are there any other people here like me who can HARDLY play? if so, whats your plan?
3) tips for being efficient in WoW

Well, virtually, you should choose between being a university student "off the course" or playing in moderation not losing sight of your study goals.

Well, i have never raided in my life, and i realy wish i could for once, (when vanilla came out i was 14)

Thing is, i can realy lose myself in the game /: i realy wish i could be satisfied with 7 hours a week..

Following a guide might be the perfect solution for you. It's very efficient leveling, more so if nearly all the quests are working the way they should. It'll make the leveling process a little less exciting because you are following a script and skipping some fun but time consuming quests. Also if you can spare a little time beforehand to read what to do next so you know what you're supposed to do when you start playing it can save a lot of time because you won't have to stop and check it as often (printing it out works great too).

If you aren't playing for 6 days at a time, you should be leveling rested most of the time. You will get to 60 eventually at 7 hours a week, and Friday is not a bad day for finding raids.

Ryanp and OP, i'd suggest checking out the great addon called Vanillaguide.
It's a addon for both factions, using Joanas for horde and Brian Kopps for alliance.
With metamap integration and everything!

I only played vanilla and tbc/ wotlk/ cata/ mop and now latest.
After tbc i became more casual player.

If you want to raid as a casual player you need a few things
A good guild that accepts casual players for raiding,
Whe. You are online interact with guild via teamspeak or ventrillo and team up so they get to know you and your playstyle.
If you play dont play for yourself but for the/a team.
Thats from my experience as semi hard core raider from vanilla.

If you really want to experience raiding you gotta invest time especially if you are casual player ...

I did play on a tbc private server.
Only as a GM and it was a buggy small server focussed on money. So got back to normal playing

Well for me i have awful internet and its not getting any better for 6 months, + job and going away/out, i also wont be getting a great deal of time on.
But for me, community keeps me coming back, having a guild that can suit your playing time and has a good bunch of people that you get on with, can make the time you have to spare that much more fun and worthwhile!
With it being a small community its going to be hard to find the right guild. I imagine most are going to be hardcore PvE or PvP guilds, personally i would be wasting my time in a guild like that, no time for hardcoring.
