Saw that aswell. They're probably scared that we will take all their players

So they are having an open beta the day before Nos releases.

This open beta allows players to customize their level, gold, and items.

Pretty much solidifies the fact that I'll be sticking to Nos.

We'll see how it all turns out. Nos has had more tests and more availability, but I think if you're not worried as well you're not thinking things through clearly.

I'm happy that there gonna be more options for Vanilla players with 2 great servers coming out.

The sad part is if it wasn't for nostalrius they probably would have kept their community waiting many more months for the server, akin somewhat to corecraft. They're pretty much forced to react to nostalrius' release date if they want to keep their server relevant.

Don't think it's enough though, since they did not announce the duration of the test, or the release date. So it will probably be a few weeks to a month after nostalrius has already been released. The only thing they can hope is that nostalrius can't handle the DDOS and they can.

What an obvious publicity stunt. It's of no concern though, since they have no developers, and their motives are obvious.

I'm glad there's going to be multiple polished vanilla servers available. It pushes the vanilla scene to be even better.

I've chosen Nost for a variety of reasons, but there's no reason to bash other projects.
