It's not supposed to work on melee anyway, so even if it does, ti's a bug and will be fixed eventually.

Biznicks 247x127 Accurascope now only affects ranged attacks, and Elemental Sharpening Stones no longer will affect ranged weaponry. The schematic for the Accurascope will now drop once again in the Molten Core.

In patch 1.10, the Biznicks 247x128 Accurascope was changed to only affect ranged attacks.

The schematic drop was disabled for a period of time earlier on in the game's life, because it used to give hit rating to melee weapons as well. This bug has since been fixed, and so the schematic has begun to drop again. However, not many guilds feel Molten Core is worth the time and effort any more.



But you are right, we should listen to you, it clearly did not give hit between 1.4 and 1.10.

Last time I checked, talents, spells and mechanics on the server were 1.12 (apart from a few exceptions e.g. debuff slots & shit), only quests / raiding content / items statistics were following a progressive release.

I guess it depends on how you look at the Acurascope.
Since it was a bug that made it affect melee weaponry and was never intended, it would make much more sense to make it affect only ranged attacks right from the begining here on Nostalrius.

someone did confirm it working, but it will indeed be patched out before too long
