Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello!I looted an item called Cloak of Flames(lvl 60 boe).At start i thought this is a trash item,but allakhazam+wowhead comments + some people told me that the 5 fire dmg on attack scales with->>> SPELL DAMAGE IN A 1:1 RATIO <<<<------ That means if some1 has this cloak and 300 spell dmg it would do 305 dmg on each attacker!Crazy right?So also i want to infrom its the rarest item in the game along with teebu's.So my price is 2000g.If u are interested on this item and want a rogue that attacks u in BRM to instantly die,PM me(Drfrozen) in the game!Also its in the AH right now,u can just buy it from there!

No reflective dmg scaled with spell damage in Vanilla (i.e. Retribution Aura, Thorns, Fire Shield, Razor Gauntlets, Naglering, Essence of the Pure Flame, Drillborer Disk, Sulfuras)

If it does here then that's a bug.

Well it's not a bug because that happened in retail too.So it shouldn't be fixed as this server is blizzlike....

you would need to show proof from actual retail vanilla (aka circa 2005/2006)

PS Don't get me wrong, I would love it if reflective dmg scaled, but it would be beyond OP if it did

I'm 100% sure that cloak of flames scaled with spellpower in retail, there were a couple youtube video's that I watched a lot that involved using cloak of flames to farm tyrs hand. I'm having a hard time finding the video but I did find a post from 2006 referencing it

Stupider Mage Tricks is great except some of the fights are no longer possible the way he shows them. Blizzard has fixed the Cloak of Fire which was clearly an off the wall bug. It took all of your +dmg gear and created an aoe effect when the cloak was used giving the full gear bonus. This should be +25 fire dmg/5 sec for 15sec. Faxmonkey with the bug is getting ~+750 fire dmg/5 sec for 15 sec inside of an iceblock (trinketed up). I believe it was fixed in 1.9.

Hey guys.I got news for the cloak.I found a paladin named Belgrund who has this cloak and he says it does not scale when it is supposed to.So i posted it as an important issue(he posted it too) in the bugtracker and the devs said it will be fixed very soon in the following days,with the 1:1 spell damage ratio
