Tracking low level quests

Tracking low level quests

by ravinki » Sat Aug 08, 2015 1:14 pm

I have been searching for an addon that will track low level quests, mainly for reputaition gains with the other factions, but also because I am somewhat of a completionist.

I can't find any addon that will do this.
On other servers for TBC people usually mention QuestHelper or Carbonite, but those doesn't work either, and I don't even think there are any for Vanilla.

Have you heard of an addon that can track low level quests, or is someone willing to give it a go, or is it impossible to do?

No, Questie does not have that abillity as far as I know.
I use Questie already, and I haven't found any interface for options that would sugest such a feature.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but it's a long thread.

Is there any functionality for filtering low level quests or for filtering out horde only/alliance only quests?

Thanks!

Faction quests already work. Or they should anyway, there may be a few false positives.
As for low level quests, I'm not sure what you're asking. It shows quests for up to 6 levels below your own. You can modify that in the code to show all quests. We will implement an easy option for this to work properly in 2.1 though, so you can just change it ingame.

What file and code does change that, so that i can see all low level quests on my cartographer map.

No reply thus far.

Who's working on questie?

Might be wrong but i don't see a version 2.1 coming soon with that option.

I've been looking for a solution to the same problem to no avail; I tried editing Questie's files, but I can't make it work.

If someone finds a way to track low level quest, please, take the time to inform us.

Actually Questie does so.
/questie lowlevel
Tested it today, low lvl quests are show on the map.
-You can't do that while incapacitated
-You can't do that while polymorphed
-You can't do that while silenced
-You can't do that while stunned
-You can't do that while frozen
-You can't do that while feared
-You can't do that while dead

Hey, thank you for helping out -- I really appreciate it. I can now see low-level quests on the whole map, which is even more useful.
