Anyone know how to set up bartender2? I don't know how to move the bars around.

Bartender2 is configured using commands. If you in your chatbox type "/bar", it should be able to guide you onwards from there with what to type next. "/bar help" can be useful, too.

Nevertheless, if memory serves, you can use "/bar lock" to toggle the lock and thus enable you to move the bars around, and "/bar bar1", "/bar bar2", etc. will show you commands to configure bar 1, bar 2, etc.. The overall sequence is ALWAYS "/bar cmd1 cmd2 cmd3 cmd4", if commands 2 and 3 and 4 exist. For example, by typing "/bar bar4 show off" you disable bar #4, and with "/bar bar3 rows 4" you give bar #3 four rows instead of the stock one - very useful if you have a Razer Naga mouse.

I hope this helped. When in doubt, just type /bar and it will guide you on. :D

download deucecommander. This addon makes it much easier to use Bartender 2 in my experience.

You can get Bartender2 here:
http://armory.digam.dk/?sa=download.fil ... p1=6&p2=31

However, as OP mentioned, it can be a hazzle to set up. I recommend using Bongos instead - same functionality, but easier to configure (type /bongos to get a configurable UI):

Do you not have the menu button on your minimap? All the controls should be available to you from that menu. Maybe check that it didn't get buried by another addon button. Hold on... just remembered the minimap button is another addon called Bartender2Fu. It's a Fubar addon, but you don't have to have Fubar. Pretty sure it was in my Bartender2 download, but disabled by default (maybe because I don't have Fubar). Check your addons before you log in to see if you have it and that it is enabled.

Bartender does take time to setup, but it has a profile system for copying to alts.

For keybinds, I don't think it does anything beyond the default 1-12 with Shift/Ctrl/Alt modifiers, as well as stance bar swapping, and friendly target swapping, which comes out to 60 or 72 keybinds depending on your class. Plenty for me. And still a few bars left for burying some skills for macro callbacks, like Shoot or Attack buttons. I use mine in small grid that matches my Naga layout and let Bartender's paging system handle the rest.
