My friend NEVER used an addon before

My buddy never played WoW or used an addon before in his life, and i can't exactly explain to him where to get the addon, or where to even put the addon so it'll help him quest and junk, can someone please give me an in depth guide on where to get questie and where to put it in his addon folder ? thank you!
