Am i doing something wrong? Ive downloaded ur ZIP from the github and installed the folder into the Addons directory - I do not see this coming up on the addon list.

The folder name must be "profession_query".



By the way, I noticed it's possible to link profession entries in chat. Am I crazy or was that not working before? Anyway, maybe I should change it to use those only (remove the "= ..." part)?

Edit: Actually, the special links seem to be working only on the pve server whereas on the pvp they're still plain itemlinks, strange.

It would be even greater to know what my others toons can do... so, without them being connected.

I've made some extensions though. The newest version adds two slash commands: /pq search and /pq send.

/pq search takes a pattern as argument and does the same as the whisper query except it prints to your own chat rather than whispering.

/pq send takes a player name as argument (or uses the one who last whispered you by default) and whispers to that player the query result last printed by /pq search.


Basically the idea is that you no longer have to explain to people how to query but rather can just query for them and send them the results. If someone asks you for the materials for a fiery enchant you do /pq search fiery followed by /pq send.
Be careful with sending too large results though or you might get muted. Try different searches until the result is narrowed down enough.
