Hoe do I learn to create AddOns?

Greetings,

I've been playing WoW for many years now and never got into it. But now I'd really like to create my own AddOns and Interface Mods.
I'm experienced with graphic design and woulf like to make minimalistic but sweet interfaces.

So is there a homepage or something to learn especially the creation of interface mods?

Basically it works same as it works in retail...in vanilla youre missing some newer api functions, events and lua functions...
