This may be related to the recent commits, did you download from the release or did you download the master branch from github?

Got an error, using latest version

The error pops up each time i open a quest log or each time quest objectives update. It started to show all of a sudden at one point during questing in swamp of sorrows

Bear with us everyone, we're in the middle of some big fundamental changes to questie. Once they're finished a lot of these issues should be fixed again, and we can return to the normal bug-fixing mode.

I'm not sure if something similar to this has been posted yet, but logging in with Questie enabled crashes my game for one character. Whenever I log on another character it works fine but my main just doesn't work with it as of a couple of days ago.

I've used it on him before with it working perfectly, but now it just bricks the whole game on login, I've tried everything I can think of, from disabling all other addons, to clearing the SavedVariables because it was showing quests I had completed before it crashed, to deleting it and trying other downloads (I had the link from the OP at first, then I tried the master branch, then 1.0o) and nothings working. Is there anything I might have done to cause this because I'm stuck.

That sounds horrible! Could you disable Questie and send a screenshot of the quests in your log/list them here? I'll add all the quests to a character on the test server and see if I can replicate the issue.

Is there a way to track mining/herb/treasure nodes with Questie or another program? Questies directions said to turn off Gatherer or other mapping programs but didn't discuss an alternative.

Not sure where it says that, but that's outdated. You should be able to use gatherer just fine (In fact, I develop with it...)
