[Addon] Questie v2.0.12 - A quest helper for vanilla!

Re: [Updated] Questie v1.0 BETA - A quest helper for vanilla

I can't get it to work at all for some reason. The game won't even recognize that add-ons are available for me. I can install Cartographer from a different download and it'll recognize it but when I use the folders from the link on the front page, nothing. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?

Make sure you put the folders into your AddOns folder that are named as following:
- Cartographer
- Questie

Do not download the master branch from GitHub, or IF you do, extract the folders from inside the QuestieDev-master.

thanks! when I copied the file over it had a MACOSX file in there for some reason and it was causing the whole thing to not work. Everything is fine now. Appreciate it immensely!

Little preview of the changes to the tracker ui in the upcoming version:

Objetive colors aren't final, any feedback on this is helpful as it's currently still being designed. The big update should be out in the next couple days.

I like it. And no more ##yd next to the titles, makes it more clean, that's pretty good ;)

I'm getting the following error. Tried deleting and downloading questie again but didn't work. I get the same issue over multiple characters. I am not using the master release.

Please make sure your WoW (specifically WTF folder) isn't write-protected. It isn't able to create QuestieSeenQuests in your SavedVariables. What you can do is add it manually, if you must
- close your WoW completely
- go to WTF/AccountName/ServerName/CharName/SavedVariables/Questie.lua

At the bottom, add:
Code: Select all
QuestieSeenQuests = {}

It should work then
