[Addon] oCB3 (Quartzlike castbar)

Heya,

first off thanks for the great addon. Looks amazing, works great. However, something seems weird for fishing.

First my fishing bar worked fine, except for that it would always assume the icon for the previous spell or w/e I wouldve cast. So it would take like the Nightsaber icon if I just mounted, or cat form, w/e.

Then I reinstalled the newer version from the master, figured that would fix it.

However, now it's giving me an error when attempting to fish:

Interface\Addons\oCB\casting.lua:212: attempt to concatenate global 'oCBName' (a nil value)

This wouldnt be a huge problem since Improved Error Frames works wonder, however it also makes the cast bar dissappear completely, so I'm fishing without a cast bar.

Other spells still show up fine, it's just fishing being weird. Thanks in advance, and thanks again for the great addon.


PS: All the new fonts and textures are super cool!!!

I don't have any of the errors you're reporting and I wasn't able to reproduce them

I just learned fishing, I tried it and oCB handles it flawlessly :p



Also I've just discovered that I haven't included the right .zip to the last release this is fixed now and you can have the same oCB3 as the one I'm using right now here: https://github.com/AtheneGenesis/Vanill ... .2/oCB.zip

Note that casting a spell by mouseclicking from the spellbook provides me a lot less info and therefore oCB is a lot less likely to find the icon than putting the spell inside your action bars and mousecliking/keybinding it from there (try it :p)

if Yes can you type "/ocb debug" in your chat and show me what it's saying when casting an enchant

I just tried it with the updated oCB that you linked, and Mind Flay worked for about 10 casts, then I started getting that same error.

As for the enchanting thing, I will try that out later and give you an update.

I just wanted to chime in here and say that I can confirm this issue, so you don't see it as just a fluke.

I get the concatenation error when channeling virtually any spell, including Mend Pet, Fishing, and Bandages.

Otherwise, really liking this addon a lot. Really does the job well, thanks for your hard work! (If it had a swing timer and enemy cast bar it would be *incredible*, but that's another topic).

Thanks again for the feedback, I downloaded an US Client but still I wasn't able to reproduce the error yet.
I tried fishing, bandage and arcane missile so far, I'll try with a shadow priest and hopefully reproduce your error

PS: spell ranks fix for the US in master branch waiting for feedbacks

It definitely works sometimes.
I really have no idea what could be causing it either.

I do like the addon a lot, so I might just keep using it anyway.

Yeah fishing works fine now most of the time, and haven't seen the error at all since posting here.

Not sure what's going, but I'm going to keep using it anyway, since it's so cool.

Is there a way to increase the max width over the addon's max limit? It's too short for my UI, had to go back to eCastingBar for now.

How much width is missing in your opinion ? this is fairly easy to modify
