Possibly but I'm working on an update for the post tab right now so I'll only do urgent bugfixes other than that.

The new post tab will be able to remember your settings for items like stack size, pricing strategy (live undercutting, market price, fixed price, automatic), and will let you hide certain items so they don't clutter up the inventory listing.

It is possible that such add-ons SellEnchant_v1.12.3 or GFW_ReagentCost_v11200-1 make friends with AUX, instead of KC_Item or Auctioneer

edit: or may be hint addon tooltips with price

Can you describe what these addons do? Don't they use enhtooltip? If so they should work with aux.

Hey Bit I was looking that you are working in the listing for posting items, is possible that you add an "update price" / "calculate optimal price" button in the post item section, let me explain why I'm asking for this, you know when you put the item initially sometimes other people have the same item and you can more or less know what the item price combining the current prices with the database prices, you usually put by default the less expensive price minus some copper to have the better price so if someone is selling [silk cloth] at 8s, 7s and 6.50s ea you put automatically something like 6.49 ea in the price to have like the best shot at selling the item, that's fine, it works and is very convenient, but sometimes you need to put other prices instead of the one in the AH or database, maybe because you are selling pots in mass quantities or whatever, when I use it this way and I put a price for example to a stack of 7, first at all I need to see how much is the price of the individual item I want to put, then multiply that price for 7 because there is no way to put a individual price and make the addon calculate the full stack price, he does it automatically like I was explaining before and it takes the minimum difference value that it can use so it sells well, in this case a button would be cool because you can still use that feature but whenever you want it not every time you put a new stack, another issue is that when you put a new price manually and you change the stack size or the stack count values it change the price automatically, because like I said the feature of calculating the better price is used every time you try a new item/stack size instead of when the user wants to use it.

And the last thing I wanted to mention is relevant to that same thing but you probably wanna add it in the future not exactly right now, if you implement that button I'm talking about it, you can also add another feature for this window, you can add calculate full price from individual price, you can add an option/radiobutton to select between individual price and total price and when the user picks individual price he can for example out something like 12.59s in the price box and press the "update price" / "calculate optimal price" button I was talking about to calculate how much is 12.59s x 7 in an semiautomatic way and update the total price.

Let me know if you understood my wall of text, I feel like this is really hard to explain for some reason, but I really think it would be awesome to have the option to use that feature instead of doing it automatically.

That's actually awesome, I was thinking that it would be cool if you could delete old items you looked for whenever you want.

Also there is this addon called "GFW_ShoppingList", is basically a list you can add and delete items with commands and links, for example if you wanted to add one item to your shopping list you use /sl add [itemlink] and if you want to remove it, the same way but with /sl remove [itemlink].

Auctioneer had compatibility with this addon, not sure if both guys worked together or was just a shopping list feature, but maybe you can add something like that to your addon and the post list, so it show the items in your shoppinglist/favorites in the post section first and then you show the latest search.

Here is the addon if you want to check it http://fizzwidget.com/index.php?s=shopping+list maybe you can use the features from the same addon, I can assure you that addon is really easy to use and from what I had seen it doesn't have any bugs

More one noticed. Everyday items are updated, so I every day full scan AUC for price changes. Prices vary, but a product that scan stacks. Written that 15 items at auction, although in fact they have to delete 4. save in WTF and scan again.

Aux uses enhtooltip to display its own market value in the tooltip so naturally it will also work with all other addons which use enhtooltip to display their tooltip additions. To scan the whole AH use the "discard" keyword in the search box. (or any other strict filter really, no matter how you scan all prices will be considered for the historical value). To scan a specific part just use such a filter. For trade goods use the filter "trade goods/discard".

edit: Oh, I get what you're asking now. You want those addons to be able to use Aux' market value? For that one would have to modify those addons though, not aux. Not sure if I can be bothered. Maybe someone else wants to modify them though? Aux' market value is available through
Code: Select all
Aux.history.market_value(item_key)
where item_key is item id and suffix id joined with a colon (e.g., "554:4")

"Like!"

I was going to ask same thing. Integrate it or just save statistics into Auctioneer database as well, since we can get it when scanning auctions.

The new post tab is here with tons of improvements.

There's no more delay for the inventory listing! You may get unauctionable items in the list sometimes though like for example lockboxes, but when you click them they will be automatically hidden.

Stack size, auction duration, pricing model and prices for the fixed model will be automatically saved on a per item basis.

For the pricing models you get undercut (live scan based), market value (120% of market value), fixed (whatever you enter) and automatic (like in the previous version, live scan and defaulting to market value when no auctions are found)

You can now hide items (checkbox in the top right corner). To see even hidden items use the checkbox above the item list.

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

TyrantRC wrote:...

With the newest version you can now just select "Fixed" from the pricing model dropdown and the auto suggestion will be deactivated for that item.

As for the unit price/stack price conversion, I might make a button that simply toggles whether what you enter is the stack or unit price and then does the conversion automatically when you hit post.

As for the shopping list, can't you already kind of do that with the favorites? Maybe I could make them orderable.
