Hi. Questie seems to work fine but on my 16:9 monitor, the quest helper text is hovering in the middle of the screen which is fairly annoying. How do I change this?

Just drag the quest helper text out of the middle of the screen.

First this addon adds functionality to what i was using before that is an improvement; but i can't use it cause it breaks my ability to navigate with my character. I can't use my mouse functionality to steer any direction. Sorry if this has been brought up before. It was working for a little while like maby an hour or so then something broke and crashed the client(which has never happened before) then ever sense that happened i lost my ability to steer with my mouse. So i unloaded it and now i'm all better. strange....

Thought i'd just let you know.

I like that the arrow button is less hands on to work.
I like that quests are marked; although it has no clue that i've done them previously. 8}
I like that it tells me that i've finished in in the tracking window.
I don't like that i can't seem to work the tracking window with track and untrack; its not very intuitive nor do i
see that i can adjust it in anyway in what it tracks or doesn't track. makes a huge window on the screen if it
likes put everything there.

I'd make more comments but i only had it working for an hour.. sorry.

Post script.... This happened after i died and rezzed. not sure whats going on with that but that was the catalyst.

The best version of Questie would be without the quest tracker IMO.

We have said several times that the tracker is essential to how the addon works. If we always drew everything on the map/minimap, the addon would make the game extremely laggy. We have tried this before and what is probably the best example to illustrate this, is picking up the Stranglethorn page quests, track them all and see what happens to your FPS. I have a pretty decent computer and it will drop me from 200 to 25fps.

On top of that, there is the arrow, which requires the tracker. There is/was more functionality planned for it too, like some menus on the tracker and slash commands which are half-implemented. But all of us are taking a break as of right now, from lack of motivation to personal reasons.

One example of this is, that the tracker always sorts quests in the order of closest to furthest. You may not have noticed this. There is already a slash command in place that allows the tracker to display distance to each quest right next to the quest text. Things like locking the tracker, different sorting algorithms, making it clickthrough etc were all planned.
If or when development picks back up again, there might be an option to hide the tracker temporarily, but it will never be removed.

I downloaded Questie for the first time a few weeks ago and it was working great. Recently, I made a new character on Nostalrius and tried to use questie. I am now level 14, and ever since level 1, Questie has only been working on my minimap. The quest tracker box that pops up to show objectives is nowhere on my screen, and I looked this problem up and was told I should assume it got dragged off of my screen somehow. I've looked all over my screen with my mouse and still haven't found it. I've reinstalled Questie 4 times, and even deleted the .lua folder and it still won't show the objective box. How can I get it back? It was very helpful. :oops:

Hello, Been using questie since level 1 with no issues until today. When I mouse over mobs while moving (excluding players, critters and vendors) my game stutters. I have tried a fresh install and different versions of questie.
Any suggestions?
