Does it not seem unfair to you when a 60 is ganking a lvl 20 in lakeshire? How is this different? Why would it matter if it's unfair? It's part. of. the. game. as. blizzard. intended. it. to. be.

By the way, you realize the addon won't farm the gold for you that you need to buy those auctions and won't ensure that you'll actually be able to sell them for more? And I have to repeat myself: It's been allowed from the start of the server. People have been using sniping addons a lot. But mostly just to snipe attempted transfers on the neutral AH because what you're suggesting simply doesn't work like you think it would.

Yes, it kinda does. Especially if it's possible with a client from the end of vanilla and doesn't require any obscure loopholes.

They intended them to be able to script all the functions which they put in the Lua API which includes that, yes.

Ironically what you're describing is also still possible on retail. People just use the mousewheel to mass buy. (in fact, even buying with the default ah isn't that much slower since addons can only request one AH page per 4 seconds) Of course like I said it doesn't really work like this for reasons I've written above. What you need for this is not an addon but a good sense of your server's market and knowledge about economy in general and maybe psychology.

The only thing that's not possible anymore is to snipe transfers on the neutral AH while afk.
