[Addon] Questie v2.0.12 - A quest helper for vanilla!

Hi everyone,

I'd like to start by saying great addon and thanks!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I first started using Questie I noticed there was a tooltip that appeared whenever I hovered over a mob which told me how many kills were needed for a quest? This tooltip seems to have gone. I'm using the latest version of the addon. Its the tooltip that's shown on the first page of thread.

The version I'm using is Questie-2.0.13.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Ehhhhh, dont know really, but im not really fixing bugs for 2.0 as you can imagine when we are very close to a 3.0 release we just need to add the arrow and tracker and 3.0 is done.

I would guess you are using a tooltip addon that overrides the tooltip and that is why its gone.

Quick update.

You are correct Logon! It seems another tootip addon was blocking it. Seems to be working now. Its an addon called EQ Compare that appears to be blocking the Questie tooltip.

Hope this helps anyone else having this issue.

I havent checked that combo exactly but questie 3.0 should work with all addons that just change the gametooltip and not replaces it

Ran into a bug on 3.0

Can't turn in this quest, it says its checking my inventory and lags a little, but doesn't complete.
Had to log out and disable questie 3.0 to turn this in.



Edit: Another bug, I can't abandon quests because every quest I try to abandon just goes to the same one. (Disabled EQL3 to test and getting same results)

Okay, figured out the first one, Nostralius questname is A Plague Upon Thee (part 2) while my Database says the name is A Plague Upon Thee... will have to look into a fix here.

Haha just so you know, you found ONE of THREE quests where the questname is not the same as my Database

Love the add-on is there a way to lock the quest window so it does not move around.

Hi guys. I just installed the Questie 3.0 to a clean installation yet I ran into an error.



Also, this is my addon list.


With this error I cannot see any quests around, also the game lags and the box won't go away by clicking "Okay". How can I or we fix this thing?

Hey, I feel pretty retarded. But how do you implement Questie into WoW?
I opened WoW folder and was about to put it in Interface>Addons. But I only had a map with Interface and nothing in it. Im pretty confused. Tried to create a Addons map and put it in anyway, dident help.

If you have time to help, that would be great. Tell me what to do or link me some quide would be awesome!

Never mind! I made it work. When creating the addons folder and the _blizzard files were there after a while.
