If the post tab is bugged you need /aux clear post. Your preferences are saved but on a per item basis, so you'll have to set them for every item for the first time. I think this makes the most sense (except for maybe the mode setting which I might make global)
As for the automation, everything was not automatic. What the old version did automatically was suggest an undercut of the lowest auction's buyout price. Most of the time this is far from the best setting though. Check this post for details: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=21102&p=257331#p257331
Automating this isn't really possible.
Note you don't have to enter the price manually, you just have to click a bid/buyout price in the listing to undercut with your bid/buyout.
