I think atlasloot has this function.

It's EquipCompare (and CompareStats + Bonus Scanner if you want to display what stats you'll gain/loose in the tooltip).

Yeah, EquipCompare is nice. Oh God, it was like one of the first addons I searched for and installed.

I installed some kind of multi addon adn suddenly the compare windows were popping up on their own.
