Chatboxes reset after log

Does anyone know how to keep the extra chat boxes you make after you relog? Mine are continuously disappearing and I have to make a new one every time i log back on.

Actually this issue appears to be happening at random. I've had to reset the extra chat window several times and I don't recall logging off.

I was having this issue also for a while. I found that after I created and edited the new chat window if I did a

/reloadui

then logged out to character screen and back in again it would save my chat boxes. It's like the settings weren't being saved if I simply logged straight to desktop.

but i dont think all that matters, it seems that the second poster's suggestion has worked. Thanks a ton!

uncheck the "Auto-Join Guild-Recruitment Channel" option in blizzards interface option.

This is a common bug from vanilla to wotlk (at least) which could cause extra chat windows to disappear
