BuffBlock

I originally made this addon by slimming down LazyPigs for just the auto-remove salvation functionality. Later I realized it would be nice to also auto-remove a few other buffs that I didn't need while tanking as I was hitting the buff cap on some fights.

Open the settings menu with "/BB", check off the buffs you want to be auto-removed. Those buffs will now be automatically removed as soon as they are applied.

Mob Resist - This addon might be unintentionally exploiting a bug, removed from the download link for now

This addon will show the current Armor, Frost/Fire/Nature/Holy/Shadow/Arcane resistance of the mob that you are targeting. As you apply armor reducing effects or resistance reducing effects the numbers update automatically.

Commands:
/mr show - shows the addon. Note, it is invisible if you do not have a target selected.
/mr hide - hides the addon
/mr report say/party/yell/raid/battleground/guild - reports the target's current armor and resistances in the specified channel.
/mr reset - resets the position of MobResist. This command is only needed if you had an older version of the addon and the display was dragged off your screen.

Updated 8/17/2015, Version 1.2 - It was possible to drag the addon around when you had no target, often this would result in the addon being dragged off your screen. This is no longer possible.

I updated buffblock.

It will now only remove salvation from warriors when they are in defensive stance and have a shield equipped. I don't have a warrior to test with so someone please test it out and let me know if it works.

The new version is BuffBlock_1.3.zip at the same download path.

Hey, I tried out Mob Resist, but I don't really understand how it works : it displays armor just by targeting a mob, without needing me to hit it or anything, but I couldn't find any database in the AddOn folder that could allow the AddOn to "know" this.

How exactly do the number come from ? I'm puzzled :)

Huh... so I never really looked at that page before, someone just had a macro that worked and I adapted it to make an addon.

Looks like this addon probably shouldn't be working. Seems like it should only work for the current player and on their pet.

Edit: We'll see what happens https://report.nostalrius.org/plugins/tracker/?aid=2097

Hum, okay well, makes more sense. I guess it's like the unit HP that shouldn't be shown by the server directly or something, with this macro which should only work with your own character / your pet?

I should get fixed someday then :).

I thought you had like a "real" way of estimating armor / resistance, just like MobHealth does with HP, you know by calculating the standard deviation between expected / observed damage or something.

For when the macro will get fixed, it shouldn't be to hard to code an Addon telling the target's armor thanks to some fixed-damage abilities like Kick / Gouge / Harmstring & shit though.

Thanks for your information anyway :).
