'Search Auctions' - Auctioneer bugs

Auctioneer Version: 3.9.0.1000
3 PROBLEMS:
1. The 'Search Auctions' tab barely works. Frustrating because this is the main feature I want in any AH addon- a function that searches for underpriced auctions that can be flipped for profit.

Returns nothing consistently. Have tried text commands (/auc broker, /auc bidbroker), rescanning, relogging, restarting, installing (many) different Auctioneer versions, etc.
2. I've spent the last week re-installing different versions of Auctioneer to try and troubleshoot the problems I've been having and every time I do I lose all my auction data from all my painfully long scans.
Is there any way to transfer the scanned auction database from an old version of Auctioneer to a new one? Like is there a specific file that it's stored in?
3. My auction scanning speed caps out at 10 auctions/second. Is there any way to improve this?
I saw a post on this forum that said the max speed should be 17/sec, and although that's not a huge improvement, a 70% speed increase would still be welcome. Is there any file which I can edit to manually change/remove that speed cap?
Anybody having these problems or know how to fix them? Help/advice MUCH appreciated!
