Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

This is not an addon, it is an addition to client side files. As such it could be considered a modification of the game client, and therefore result in a permanent ban. Normally that refers to .mpq files, but Warden may still detect it. If it does, you'll be banned, and no explanation that it's just cosmetic or request for appeal will result in recovery of your account on this server.

Textures, Fonts and Sound replacement has always ben legal on blizzard servers,
it works the same way as an addon does, the difference is: The lua is already pre written by blizzard.

If you want to stay out of trouble. Don't do anything inn the Data folder and dont modify a single thing,
you just add files to the folder below and the game client fixes the rest. If it wasnt ment to be used
it would simply not work. This is designed by intent. If nostalrius warden detects it, than its flawed.

Correct Paths:
Sound - /World of Warcraft/Sound
Fonts - /World of Warcraft/Font
Textures - /World of Warcraft/Interface

Client modifications are not allowed on the server. Use it at your own risk, your account may get permanently banned for it.

EDIT: pro tip: go through all the screenshot threads, plenty to ban.

We need a non biased opinion less definition of what a client modification is.
One gm might approve one thing, and another might ban you for the same.

Also seems to me that there is a huge lack of knowledge on this subject.
Because the vibe i get on this server is that its illegal to do something that
blizzard even have open in game command and downloadable tool for.

Fontabulous isnt editing any game file, is entirely in the addons folder, and as such i doubt it will get anyone banned....

I used this addon during real vanilla and was never banned.
