Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

hey. I am not so much into the whole grind gear thing in vanilla wow, I like more to do epic guests, face challenges, explore beautifull world, read lore, and I LOVE cooking, fishing and alchemy alot. I prolly try to be best alchemist on the server... but yea, back to the topic I wanna talk about. fishing is fun, but I dont really like the catch the fish part. it is kinda hard for me, long story why, and I dont really feel like training catching fishes. so, I am thinking, can this be solved someway, an addon or simple script to do the click on the water to catch the fish? and, what is allowed, and whats not? I dont wanna break rules for no reason, and I dont wanna bans either :p thanks alot for help guys ^_^ I really just wanna get to shore and level fishing and cooking..

Unfortunately there's nothing that can interact with the bobber in the standard wow api, and that means it would require an external program, and be considered botting (perm ban)




One thing worth noting though, once you get to higher level fishing it becomes a lot more lenient. I can click the bobber 4-5 seconds after it bobs and still get the fish (but I've got 300 fishing)

Well I guess when fishing it depends on your fishing skill and the fishing skill required for this zone.
While you can get skill points everywhere, zones do have different "required" skill level at which you'll be able to catch fishes. (afaik)

and Scamp said it correctly, there is no legal way to make fishing easier

but, if I wanna make end game food, will it be easy? I am new to wow in general..

you could have a look at some of the older addon scripts that enable autoloot when fishing, or increase the volume for the bobber
