Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I cannot find the AddOn button on the character screen. I have gone through the forums and read through several posts following instructions on how to fix this problem but nothing has worked for me to make this AddOns button appear. I am playing on the mac build on a macbook pro late 2011.

I have unzipped the file, and placed it in my wow folder>interface>addons>VanillaGuide 2

There is not a subfolder layer inside of VanillaGuide2 called called VanillaGuide2 with the files in it. The folder that is in AddOns has this inside of it:

Bindings.xml
Core.lua
Display.lua
Frame_aboutframe.lua
Frame_mainframe.lua
Frame_settingsframe.lua
guidetable.lua
GuideTables (folder)
Iibs (folder)
Settings.lua
Slashcommands.lua
Textures (folder)
UI.lua
VanillaGuide.toc
VguideFu.lua

The only thing i can think of is that inside my addons folder there are already 12 other Addon folders that came with the original download of the mac build. Blizzard_AuctionUI, Blizzard_BattlefieldMinimap, Blizzard_BindingUI, etc etc.

Maybe i delete those?

If I am understanding you correctly, the folder inside the AddOns folder is called VanillaGuide2. However, the .toc file is just titled VanillaGuide.toc. Therefore I think the issue is that the folder needs to match the .toc file so try renaming the folder to just VanillaGuide without the 2.
