Has features like easy casting (casting with right click when pole is equipped).
Couldn't find any recent official response.

Personally I've been using it without any problem, since it changes only the way you cast the pole, and it has not any auto-casting feature included, so you'll never be banned for something like "using a different keybind to fishing".
The most useful thing about that addon is that it keeps trace of where and what you fished in a sub-zone of an area.

As long both cast and loot is done by you (I mean you, not a device hitting the keyboard every 20 second, your brother's dog, your girlfriends new shoes or anything else - but YOU), then the addon is perfectly legal.
