FuBar is very often creating extra panels, and moving modules around on them itself.

Yeah, it happens quite often.

I've customised a top and bottom bar, but rarely login without an additional bar or two being added and the various modules pinned on different bars. It only takes a couple of seconds to move the modules back and delete the extra bars however it's frustrating that the settings aren't being saved despite locking the panels in place in the addon.

The weird thing is that the settings are saved. If you check the lua it will say exactly how you have it, but changes when logging in somehow.

Assigning everything to the center position seems to have fixed it.

Bump! Would love if someone could find the source of this issue.

When you're happy with the way your Fubar looks, quit the game and put your Fubar SavedVariables files as Read-only. It will stay the same forever :p

Right click on a Fubar panel and uncheck "Overflow plugins". Problem solved.

If you have this checked (which it is by default), Fubar will create new bars when it feels you have too many plugins.
