what addons can you recommend? it should be able to scan the complete AH, so i always have a rough idea what an item is worth when it drops in the wilderness.

in retail i got auctionator, which is really really good. imo

I am using Auctioneer, my favorit in retail. It lets you scan the auction house and help with pricing your auctions.

You can get a working version for Nostalrius on: http://addons.us.to/addon/auctioneerpack
Scroll down to the comments section and use the link there. The version on the website is not working on Nostalrius.

Also, get Informant (it works together with Auctioneer). It will show you useful data in the tooltips when hovering over an item.
