Quest helper

Hello, i'm noob so i need to play with quest helper or smthing like. I downloaded this :

but it does not work.
Also i know cartographer 1.12 but it's not a real add-on (i mean you have to check all the time it's kinda boring).
Any tips plz ? :cry:
