AFK macro

So i found a post on a forum that shows a macro that when you use it, cancels the afk. Here's the macro:

/in 290 /s no
/in 590 /s no
/in 890 /s no
/in 1190 /s no
/in 1490 /s no
/in 1790 /s no
/in 2090 /s no
/in 2390 /s no
/in 2690 /s no
/in 2990 /s no
/in 3290 /s no
/in 3590 /s no
/in 3890 /s no
/in 4190 /s no
/in 4490 /s no
/in 4790 /s no
/in 5090 /s no

Now i don't know if this is legal or not, but i tested once ( Not with the macro ) I did /afk then typed in chat /in 3 /s no, The result is that it takes me out of AFK. Now what's i'd like to know is, if this would be considered boting or anything else that would make the user worthy of a ban...

I think if you were doing it in AV for example I think it would be considered an anti afk method, thus making it bannable.

what is that supposed to do?
say "no" in 290 seconds, 590 seconds and so on?

There for sure is no /in command in 1.12.1

/in is provided by Ace if present

so i'm assuming it starts an OnUpdate timer and sends a chat message once the set time is elapsed?

I guess that'd work

pretty sure it still is bannable as it automates gameplay ("playing" your character while you are afk)

Really useful for auctioneer scans. Would like to get some official word on this. Never heard of a macro being banned before, although I would be skeptical to use something like this in a BG.

Anything that keeps you from being automatically marked AFK or getting logged off is forbidden to use. If you use this macro, you do run the risk of being banned for botting.
