Account banned before first login

[Grrrrr]

Trying to log in for the first time to play I'm running into continual issues. Either it gives me a "handshaking" error or I get the message saying my account has been banned. I'm assuming the latter is a soft ban for login attempts. But I know the account and password are correct, I just made it. And I know the realm list and all that info is correct.

Something i'm missing?

Have you tried logging into the website to see if it accepts your account name and password?
