Ban Appeal

Dear Staff;

My Main account with the Character - Orenthil (47 Alliance Night Elf Warrior) has been Suspended.

-You are banned until August 28th 2015 13:03:02 PM for the following reason: "Forbidden gold transaction".-

Over the last week [22/08/2015 - 28/08/2015] I had logged into my account only to chat infrequently with my small guild using the Caravan-park Wifi.

During this time my Paypal had released an unauthorized payment regarding Gold. Which went unnoticed during my Holiday.

I have since returned and Paypal has refunded the unauthorized payment. However my account is still banned.

I have not been aware of Gold-buying happening from my account. But if the activity has indeed happened to my account I would be more than happy to reverse it.

(P.S. If the staff wishes, I can provide Screenshots of my Paypal and/or Bank webpage to prove that the transaction was unauthorized.)

Ok, so this means you were banned for receiving the gold in game, and were detected as doing so with a known gold-seller or otherwise through their system.

I don't see the relevance of this to you receiving gold....

So, maybe your story was a little bit believable up until this point. However, your account is your responsibility. If someone hacked it and bought gold, it would remain banned. This though... the gold sellers somehow hacked your paypal, payed for gold, then hacked your account to transfer said gold. It's a fucking conspiracy man, they're getting smarter!

Blah blah blah, I know I bought gold but I refunded the money I paid for it with on PayPal, so everything should be K, right? Nah, go eat some bananas if you want to be K.

So your claim is that a third-party gained unauthorized access to your Paypal account, engaged in theft and used it to purchase gold and direct it to your in-game character and then successfully accepting said transaction by accessing your in-game account, which was left unscathed and where the gold remained and were used? As stated in viewtopic.php?t=20137#p131660 the respective account has been permanently banned for engaging in a forbidden gold transaction. The account closure will remain. You may continue to play by creating a new account if you adheres to our Terms of Use going forward.
