Pain and pain again

Pain and pain again

by Sweetbaby » Thu Sep 03, 2015 1:43 am

Our guild realy worries about every negative thing related with russian community at this server. Since we were harmed by some issues realy hard and didn't find proper resolve from server staff, we all are thinking whether there is any sense to proceed to play here. And we are getting feelings like "no" because at any second we can lose tons of hard work and dozens days of play-time without any real reason and most likely won't get proper answer on question "why?".
It's terrible when some person contributes huge amount of real life in game, participates in pve life of guild, farms high rank in pvp, keeps proper and clear behavior during playing and once, he logs in and sees that his character disappeared for unknown reason (to be honest there are mass of reasons: 1 - somebody hacked account, 2 - accidental deleting, 3 - corrupted data base of server etc ). Of course that person is asking server staff about simple support, yes we gonna highlight - it's SIMPLE to restore character. And what answer did he get? - "Accordingly our rules we never restore characters" ... What ? Cmon? Is it normal rule? Sorry but this sounds like non-professional excuse. What is your main statement ? We are blizzlike!!.... So let us remind you that Blizzard restores character at any moment since WOW was released and so far. You could penalize him in certain way, notice that you are not gonna restore it again and again each month but give him a chance to come back in game. Where is your manners? What has this guy done to get thing equal to permanent ban? We cant find out.
Actually it's not one thing that we care right now and we are telling you.. please!!! Be so kind and help us to save our members in line.
On behalf of big part of russian community at this server we are asking you:
1. Reconsider this item of your rules.
2. Restore Duskmage's character
3. Review and make proper decision about Nabokoff's ban.

Hope you will be able to answer shortly.

Best

So, you are saying the entire Russian community is questioning "whether there is a sense to play here" because of a few (2) people that messed up their accounts because of their own actions? Ok.
1. Maybe they will reconsider this rule. However, then they would have to go back and restore everyone's character. That's right, all of the topics that expressed concern over an (accidentally) deleted or otherwise character. This is a Blizz-like realm, not Blizz-like policies. They are not obligated to go by the same ruleset as Blizzard to be Blizz-like. Blizzard was motivated to do most of the support they did by money. They restored a character so somebody would keep playing on that account. Here, it's free. The devs and GMs get no such money. You play at your own risk, and as such your account and everything in it is YOUR responsibility.
2. Refer to point 1.
3. They did review and make a proper decision on his case, twice. Most people only get once. Maybe he was high-ranking, yes. However, that does not excuse the case of him using an Anti-AFK bot/macro to keep himself in an AV, no matter the length of it. It's against forum rules, and his case shouldn't be treated as special.

viewtopic.php?f=45&t=17980 - Nabokoff's reviews

From the ToU (which you all should read):
We will not recover characters, equipment or gold

E - Permanent ban.: Most serious sanction. Permanent bans are rare but definitive. This sanction is applied in case of multiple violations of the rules, or after multiple account interruption, as well as any of the following:

Examples:

Hacking;
Using any botting program;
Abuse of major in-game bugs;
Possession of any item(s) obtained with illegal methods;
Any client modification (libraries, executables, MPQ, etc.);
Revealing the identity of a Nostalrius Begins staff member;
Advertising for other private servers or gold selling websites;
Selling/Buying accounts, gold, items or any ingame services with real money;
Publishing a software, methods or articles on cheating which can be applied on the server.
The level of whining about bans on the forums is at an all time industrial level.

Probably because they are non professionals. You seem to forget that they do the support in there free time. They don't get payed for that and with a population above 9000 for one server, they have many things to do besides handling the stupidity of players.

As far as I know, the main statement is "The Server is Blizzlike" not "The Staff is Blizzlike"
If you wan't Blizzlike staff, start to pay 23 Euro every 60 days.

I gues they already have. Accept the answer and move on.
Don't be a cry baby (Awww to late) and stop demanding something for free.

He used a bot, he got banned. End of story. Why should your guildmate be unbanned while the other hundreds of people who used anti-afk bots or simple autoclickers to send messages in trade chat every few minutes are permanently banned with no chance to appeal.

Stop thinking you have entitlement just because you are Russian. You don't and you never will in any context.
