Reason for ban: Multiple failed logins?

Attempted to change my password in game last evening with the .account password $oldpassword $newpassword $newpassword, may have gotten the syntax wrong and now cannot figure out the new password. After trying to log in multiple times and not guessing the new password I made I was locked out of the account. I also can't log into my main account on the nostalrius website to attempt to reset the password as I get an error telling me the account was recently in use.
