Old Account - Lost Login Info

Greetings,

I used to play on Nostalrius qute a while ago. Now - since I could not remember my account name and/or password - I require assistance to help me recover it back. I can provide you with the fact that one of my characters is on that account is named VOILAK (now I have made a new account with new character named VOILLAK, with double "L").
Can you help me gain access to my old account? The one that VOILAK resides.
Thank you in advance, I am willing to cooperate in any info you require for proof of validity that I am the true owner.

It seems from your previous thread that you have forgotten the email address associated with this account. Correct?
If that is the case, the staff does not assist in account info recovery, or password resets. That information is your responsibility. Sorry.

That is partially correct. I have not forgotten, I just can't use the combination of the e-mails I use with the big combination of passwords I use. I tend to be carefull and not have 1-2 passwords for everything.
So [X * Z = O]
Where:
X is the number of my e-mails
Z is the number of my passwords
O is the huge number result

Are you telling me if a case like mine appears, there is no way to assist me ? I can provide details such as IP address and other proof of validity that show I am beyond uncanny the owner. I just want to play with my original name I use on official Blizzard servers since 2004. I can even proove I am the real Voilak with title and stuff but yea, that's entirelly up to the GM's here if they are willing to take it deep to assist me. And again, I can ask nothing more from a free server but it's their choise for not allowing us to contribute to their efforts. I would love to be able to donate at will if I'm happy with the server and its service I enjoy.

Well maybe you'll get very fortunate and they will help you out. But the typical response is no. Not my call, but that is the response I have seen every time someone makes a similar request.

I am willing to provide any evidence I am the owner.
After all, I only want to use the name so I don't actually require access. Wether loggin to my old account to use name Voilak or just have it deleted and make him all over from scratch again it's the same. He is level 1 or 2 or smthng like that anyways i just want to use the NAME, nothing else.

I read all the posts in this forum and have since launch, and I can tell you that the Nost team does not help recover accounts where people have lost the E-mail address or account name. No amount of proof of ownership will help; you will need to either remember the details or create a new account.

They won't free up the character name either, for a variety of reasons.

I'd suggest making the character using a special character. My favorite is to replace the 'i' with 'í", so you would have Voílak. The character is almost indistinguishable from a real 'i'.
