You mean stagnate even further? Patch 1.6 is being applied (some things are missing) and the ever looming announcement of pve servers launch date is at hand. These bans should be reviewed but it's affecting a very small margin of the playerbase. Elite of the elite in economics.

These bans affect every single player that plays on Nostalrius. It's not the specific activity that's the issue. It's the fact that something that any reasonable person would conclude is a normal activity was suddenly declared an exploit of a major bug, and some accounts got banned for it with no warning.

This means that every player, with every action they take, no matter what it is or whether it's blizzlike could face a retroactive permaban if the staff suddenly decides it wants to declare that action to be exploiting a bug.

Nostalrius staff has taken the position that it is up to the player to research and determine if an activity is an exploit of a bug. But that's ridiculous and unsupportable. And when players do ask, they don't get a response.
