[Resolved] Password reset

Hi, my ingame character name is Ohanaa. I have recently lost acces to my account mysteriously, I swear to god that I never gave out my account information.
Nobody has recently been online on any of my characters, but I still cannot retrieve password from the forgot password option on the website as it gives me this error "the account has recently been active, and can therefor not be retrieved", I would appreciate it if you could either give the account a password reset (back to the original password), or said a new one to the originally registered email.

Also, how long does the account have to be inactive in order to be able to retrieve password from the website?

Minimum for password reset is 10 days.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see if anybody logs on for 10 days then? Im feeling real fuckd by a huge dick atm, nothing I can do about this at all.

Also if the case is infact that someone has hacked themselves onto my account, all they have to do is log onto the account atleast once per 10 days to keep the account their.

What a nice antihacker system, working in the hackers favor.

Another thing I have noticed is that, whenever I type the username and whatever random password I want, it gives me unable to connect EVERY time, until im given the 15 minute IP-banishment.
But with any other account name it will give me the wrong username/password message, or if it's a working username/pass it will log me in succesfully.

What do you make out of this, respected GMs?

Making multiple threads won't help solve your issue, in fact it will slow down the process due to the spread of information. Plus make more work for the mods in general.

As previously stated, the account associated with character Ohanaa is currently not banned. There's a security measure that temporarily IP ban users who consistently attempts to login with incorrect credentials. The duration varies depending on how many attempts occurred and increases on further failures. Users may recover their lost password by going here. This feature was designed to recover accounts whose owner forgot the login credentials and becomes available when the account has been offline for 10 consecutive days.

Please note that time spent processing issues that has already been answered keeps the Game Master team from addressing other users' pressing issues. If a user repeatedly creates abusive or multiple posts regarding the same closed issue, or otherwise misuse the respective system, the post(s) are subject for deletion and are grounds for further sanctions.
