BANNED FOR ACCEPTING GLITCHED QUEST OCT 25?! *Resolved!*

I also hope the GMs do the right thing and reverse the ban. But maybe this is a lesson learned to not repeat actions after a server crash.

Personally, I would never associate the server crashing with turning in a quest. The server crashes so much and has several times after I have turned in a quest, and also while hearthing, killing a murloc and so many other actions that any of them may have caused the server to crash.

I guess the lesson to be learned is not to do the same thing you were doing prior to a server crash. So if you sat down for a food buff prior to crash .. DO NOT TRY TO BUFF UP AFTER SERVER IS BACK UP!

Yeah, like I said, i did not associate turning in the quest with the server crashing. I thought i was just constantly disconnecting because of the flood of people logging in. I too have had random things make me D/C like getting on a boat etc. I appreciate all of you having mine (and many others) backs! I think the right thing for nostalrius to do is put out a statement for these specific cases of this glitched questline and reverse the ban for all affected. Glitched questline implemented to the public with no warning should not equal PERMABAN!

The bugged quest was in Silithus so that wouldn't apply to you. My guess is the GM's have evidence of botting or something along those lines.

Tokar is friend and brother to Dinkledorf and have always known Dink to be playing as a duo with a friend of his who are probably the two most active contributors to guild chat and events.

Less accusations about things you have no way of knowing anything about. Take your cynicism elsewhere, if shenanigans were in play then justice will be done without need to satisfy any bloodthirsty mob.

I didn't accuse him of anything. All I said was my guess is. So maybe read carefully next time.
