Banned appeal

My account was recently banned (or so it appears to be) without any explanation as to why. I've logged into the official Nostalrius website after being directed there by the official "banned" forum post, however I've found no indication as to why I was banned.

As a player I have every intention of upholding all of the rules, as I have no interest in committing any offences, and have very much enjoyed my time playing on your server.

I am by no means a troll or a scammer; again I have no intentions of breaking any of the rules that are put in place to keep your sever a healthy environment for its player base.

In the short amount of time that I've played, I've really enjoyed playing the game both with my friends and with the many random people that I encounter online. Getting my account unbanned would mean a lot to me; it's been quite upsetting to lose access to it. There's very little value on my account (just 2 low-level characters) but it's still my account that I've started.

As a person, I confident that I'm by no means a threat to any of the player base or the rules which protect them, as I've always intended to be a positive part of any community that I play with.

Thanks for taking the time to read my appeal; I would love to have this resolved some time in the future.

Hey, very glad to hear it.

But unfortunately I still in. When I enter my password, the official WoW message appears saying "This World of Warcraft account has bee closed and is no longer available for use. Please go to http://www.wow-europe.com/en/misc/banned.html for further information"

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this issue, but I have no idea how to log back in.

Also just to note: If i enter my password incorrectly, in instead say "Unable to log in".

Sorry, I thought I was banned, but yeah I can't log in. If you could help me/direct me to the correct forum, that would be ideal.

Did you attempt to log in with an incorrect password lots of times? If so, it might be a temp IP ban designed to avoid brute force attacks - and should expire shortly.

Actually I did make this mistake the first time, I tried the wrong password repeatedly, about 9 times or so.

I thought this might be the cause of the problem, but it's actually been over a week I think since the 'ban' started.

I'll also try reinstalling WoW Classic, in case that randomly solves the problem.
