Ban Appeal, "multiboxing".

Hello, staff of nostalrius.

Some months back I started leveling a new character on your PvP server, it was called "Tyvler". During my adventures in Loch Modan I was logged on to both a mage and my warrior (Tyvler). Some guy saw me alt-tabbing between the two clients, walking, and decided to report me, which resulted in my warrior getting a permanent ban from your servers.

I had tried before to get a ban appeal on another account (for another reason) and I knew you were kind of strict so I didn't really bother trying. I just swallowed my anger and move on and made a new account.

However, a little more than a month back, my friend was going to lend me some gold for my epic mount on my and he was in kind of a hurry. He quickly logged on to send the gold to me but he made a mistake, he accidently sent the gold to my banned account, the character "Tyvler". I thought the gold would come back after 1 month, that's why I didn't really bother to do anything about it at first.

Now it has gone more than a month and the gold hasnt been returned to my friend so I just want to ask. Could you please lift the ban from this account? Would be greatly apreciated, plus I've learned my lesson not to "Multibox". The name I use on that character is also very valuable to me, because it's the main name I use on most of the games I'm playing.

The ban on the account associated with the character 'Tyvler' was confirmed and placed in accordance with the Terms of Use at that time. The ban will not be lifted.

What's your reasoning behind not lifting the ban though? Except that the ban was "confirmed and placed in accordance with the terms of use at that time"? Is there no indulgence? Quite some time has gone since that ban was placed and it's not like I exploited or did anything wrong on the account except "multiboxed". There are no unfair advantages I will get by getting the account back.

What must one to in order to get his accountban lifted? Can you give me an example of a case where a ban has been lifted?

Sanctions are only removed if the respective sanction is illegitimate or if further information is provided that makes it invalid. Please note that players may not appeal account closures if the respective closure has been active for 1 month or longer.
