Banned this morning without given reason

I was thrown out of the game while logged in on my accounts to the character Yoojin level 5 gnome mage. Upon attempting to log back in I was pleasantly surprised by my ban status.

I was automatically banned and since the behavior is so different from Vanilla WoW, I was surprised it happened at all. You should really review it with that in mind.

The spam detector is very effective. Too effective, if you ask me!

You should avoid using public channels until you are level 15. Unfortunately this is necessary to combat the gold sellers.

On the contrary -- I don't care if nobody under level 15 is given the privilege to chat on public channels, but notification of that restriction should be made much more clear. Nowhere along my journey to creating a character or getting to level 5 did I encounter a message notifying me of the restriction.

Can you imagine the problem the GMs have created for themselves when all new characters are at risk of banning themselves? Think about that for a minute. New players get turned off,, long lists of players needing to be unbanned,,... It's not funny to me that I got banned at all.

No apology is necessary. You might benefit from giving users a clearer warning about privileges reserved to level 15 players. Have a nice day!
