New account? got banned in Stormwind?

Hi,

I am a first timer on your server and I have just arrived in Stormwind.I asked in General chat if there were any "leveling guilds" out there and as soon as I hit enter I got d/c from the server and the account banned. Is there any problem with asking such things in general chat?

You got banned by the automatic chat spam filter, which is quite sentitive at lower levels. A GM should unban you soon.

A good advice is not to use the chat until you are level 10-15ish - annoying, but unfortunately necessary to combat the gold sellers.

Ah ok, if that is the case then the problem should be fixed shortly since ive seen that everyone else has gotten an admin response
