Player Orggin Banned for irrasjonal behavior.

Yeah, I didn't think it would get to the point where I got banned. I think I put like 50-100 items on AH yesterday, as I hadn't logged on that character for two weeks or something. Mailbox was full and I had tons and tons of items to sell, I was really looking forward to logging in and get my hard earned gold today, seeing I was banned was a big big shocker, ruined my day totaly =/ May I have another chance on my account please? :(

I can also vouch for Orggin. We are a group of IRL mates playing together. Hoping to see a quick fix on this "problem". :)

You were banned for gold trafficking. There is next to zero chance they're going to reverse this decision, so I'd suggest putting on some tunes and getting back into the grind from the start again.

There have been reversals of gold based bans here before, the last one was only like 2 weeks ago. In fact, I cannot think of any kind of ban that I haven't seen reversed or at least reduced to a non-permaban.

Doing what the OP is trying to do here is what (seems to) has worked in those cases. Figure out what may have caused the false positive and explain it clearly.

In the case of false positives, the reasonable GM policy of keeping their detection methods close to the chest sort of backfires since the player doesn't know what (s)he is supposed to defend against. Thus, if you find yourself in this situation you have to dig really, really deep to figure out what could have happened. Just saying "hey, I didn't do it, show me the proof" will not help at all since the GMs will not say anything and you haven't explained anything away. Luckily this isn't what the op is doing so if he has indeed identified the source of the ban there is a decent shot at getting the account back.

That said, I sort of find it unlikely that transactions purely to another account that he himself has control over and presumably only plays from the same IP or IPs as his main would have ended up with a ban. It's not impossible, everyone makes mistakes, but the likely scenario here is that the ban will be upheld and that we will never learn what really happened here. Note that even if the player himself hasn't done anything shady, someone else might have gotten their hands on the account and used it. If that happens then it would seem like it was for no reason to the OP and like the player is obviously lying to the GMs (especially if the account is accessed from a place where the player normally plays, like say an internet cafe where someone has keylogged the account).

If the account was compromised, then let this be a lesson to the OP and thread lurkers about the importance of account security and using a unique password.

If it truly was a false positive, OP will be able to provide enough information in private to succeed in restoring his account.

If OP is a lying sack of dicks and he was rightfully removed, score one for the frogs.

Thanks for the reply guys! I haven't used two accounts to transfer from, only two characters on the same account and that should be allowed shouldn't it? The only thing I can remember doing wrong is trying to write in general chat and trade chat to sell Cow King's Chestplate (I think the name was that) But it didn't work ofc. Then I wooped around asking rogues using /say to try to get help opening a lockbox. Another thing is all the items I put out for sale on AH, maybe that triggered the alaram? I dunno. I hadn't logged on that char for quite some time and had tons of items to sell as I explained.
If another player has reported me for gold selling please check if it was that rogue that I was very mean to, maybe this is his revange on me.
I think this is a very very weird situation, and I feel confident that if GM's check my log and characters they will see that I spent alot of time the last month leveling my paladin to 50, and the only persons I sendt mail to ingame was my own characters and my IRL mates who I helped and who helped me with proffesions. My paladin has over 6 days played and it will never be the same starting a new account after this situation, you must understand =/

Please GM, check every log, every detail, my IP! I understand that I did look like a gold trafficer when I logged on to my alt with that many items to sell. Can you check if I still have items on Orggin (my paladin atleast)? If someone hacked me they would've sold all my gear just like they used to in retail I guess.

I don't know what more to write, this is basicly my story and I have a strong feeling this is a false positive, the chance that I have been hacked is there ofcourse, but if so I think the GM's can find out, if they want to. So please help my friends, I am not a quick leveler and starting anew is not motivating and I would have to leave my friends behind, which would be sad as I am the one who basicly got them all to start there. I have spent hours trying to explain myself here now, please take this thread seriously and investigate alittle bit. I really want to come back, the winter is dark and cold here in Norway, don't make my days darker :(

Thank you in advance.
