Account Banned - Follow up

So, I just posted a question on a ban and the GM said it was for multi-boxing and immediately locked the thread, which I think is rather rude as I had no chance to reply. I do play with my Family and there was a first warning (which I guess is a last warning, apparently) for running multiple accounts.

However, I have NOT had my account actively online being played in conjunction with any others. I can't speak for any of my family members or what they chose to do with their accounts, but the last thing I was online for was in Stormwind to trade some things between banking alts. If any of my characters on this account were online, actively being played it wasn't by me, or with my permission.

This really sounds like you did more than just multiboxing; the above implies that you shared your account with other family members, which is indeed also bannable.

Hi. Greetings. Why I was not allowed to register a new account, every time I tried to log in , some info shows up.

Incorrect. What I said was "If any of my characters on this account were online, actively being played it wasn't by me, or with my permission" What that means is that I wasn't online with my account involved with "multiboxing"

Regardless, thanks for taking the time to post and all, but I'm not looking for the community to proof read and give me their interpretations of my post, I was filing a request of GMs

The only things I can figure out are that we have logged in from the same IP, and yes I did trade items between bank alts with their accounts. So yes, there's association there, but as I said previously, I was not multi-boxing . I talked to them, and they were banned. Apparently they were going to do Gnomeregan and our Father decided to clear the first couple groups of trash with a couple characters while he waited for others to be ready. Their choice, their accounts, not mine. My point is that I was not even online when they were playing. If their accounts got banned for that, that's between them and the GM's. I'm asking about my account, not any of theirs.

My character is only level 34, I probably have 10 gold, it's not like I'm trying to salvage a huge investment in a character. It's just really frustrating to be penalized for multi-boxing that I know I didn't do. If your brother was banned for gold trafficking, and he happened to share some with you (not knowing he'd obtained it illegitimately) and you got banned, you'd be posting something too.

So, If I'm being banned because I was affiliated with people who were banned, fine say that. I think that's heavy handed, but your game, your choice. I'd update your TOS to clearly state that any account affiliated via trades or IPs to a multiboxing account will be banned.
