Just joined Nostalrius; perma banned within minutes?

My character on pvp realm Voldotmort got banned within the first couple minutes of playing. Did I do something wrong? I checked homepage and it said my account was perma banned, but no reason was given. Thanks in advance.

You probably got banned by the automatic anti-goldseller system.

You'll probably get unbanned when a gamemaster reviews your case.

A little hint: Try to not use any public channel below level 15.

You probably got caught by the spam filter, which is very sensitive at low levels. it is adviced that you don't use the chat channels until you are level 15 - annoying, but unfortunately necessary to combat the gold sellers.

Post your character name, and a GM will look at it.

Chances are you were banned by the gold spam filter if you were using trade channel and such. If that's the case they will urban but avoid spamming in chat till level 15 or so. It sucks but it helps to keep gold seller spam to a minimum

That can be 1 hour or less or even more.

Gamemasters are doing that in their freetime, so if they got the time to review your case, they'll do it.

It is random. The gms do this on their own time, some take minutes, sometimes days, it appears some admin are online so probably not long
