Account Banned - Help

I was playing a few hours ago (7:00pm EST) and I goto log in now (10:15 pm EST) and my account has been banned. I checked the forums and this is how I am appealing.

I have played this game ALOT recently. I have a lvl 30 hunter, and it was hard work to get there. I recently got into this game from a friend from school, I was watching him play and when I saw the large number of people in Iron Forge, I knew this was for me. My friend, however, ended up quitting, saying exams and stuff, but I knew the truth, this game would consume me.

So I have been playing, and recently I got a bug on my hunter from joining a battleground while my pet was stabled. It caused a new pet to spawn, and I could not get my old pet, or teach this new pet any skills, or abandon it. I recently found a fix involving deleting a few files in my World of Warcraft folder. Could this of been considered exploiting? I did not gain anything from this other than my pet was reset. It was required for me to use my hunter.

Because my hunter was bugged, I was leveling an alt, a mage. I decided that this server is too populated to do quest, or grind in an area where quests are, so instead I went to some murlocks and farmed for about an hour. I casted a whole range of skills, talked to people, opened chests; I really don't think I looked like a botter, but I may have got a report for it? I do not bot, and if my gameplay was reviewed I am sure this is clear.

As for the terms of use:

A. Naming: My name was Gaint, Celeina, and Jessiy. I wasn't highly creative, and I did not break any rules here.

B. Interacting: I have not been particularly rude to anyone. I have not harassed anyone, nor asked for any details of some kind. I am in a guild, I have been nice there.

C. Gameplay: I have not exploited anything, however, as mentioned before I had a bug with my hunter pet. It did allow some weird things, such as, the pet did not have a happiness meter, so no matter how much I abandoned it and recalled it, it would not leave (to my frusturation). Also I never had to revive it, when it died I could just call it back. These things are NOT intentional, I REALLY REALLY did NOT want this to happen. I did not abuse this and stopped playing the hunter when I realized the problem. This may break this rule: "Using or exploiting errors in design, features, and/or bugs to gain access that is otherwise not available, to facilitate and/or grant you an advantage over other players." Now this implies I "used" and exploit. There was no intention, so I do not believe you can construe my actions to mean "use" as they are more "got screwed over by".

D. Griefing: I have not done any of this. I may plan to do some ganking once I am level 60 as pay back for all the times I was ganked. But I have not done this.

E. Forum: I am new to the forums.

Cheating:

A. Exploits: Maybe considered what I was banned for. Once I realized what had happened I contacted a gm. I did not do anything intentionally, and the bug that effected me has effected others, I feel it may be common.

B. Bots: I do not. If you look at how slow I level, the useless running around I do, the use of different types of skills and attack patterns.

C. Hacks: I do not. This should be easy to tell, I do not have anything that anyone would hack to achieve.

D. Electronic Attacks: I do not. I know nothing about hacking and so little about programming its sad.

Trading Illegal Services:

I have never paid for any illegal services, ever, and will never. It sounds like the fastest way to get scammed/identity fraud/getting my WoW account hacked.

I received my friends gold, 170, a few days back. I have yet to spend any of it, and 120 is on my hunter and 50 on my mage. If somehow he had sold his account (which I doubt, although I am txting him to ask) maybe it looked like I had a transaction with a flagged account, but other than that I highly doubt this could be considered Illegal Trade Services. I DID NOT PAY my friend for this gold, frankly I do not need it, as at the time I had farmed almost 20 gold by lvl 25 (pretty good I think). I have NEVER paid any real life money for ANYTHING on Nostalrius. I am very thankful this is a free game, I would have never gave my credit card info to anything online that is not a large corporation.

Multiboxing:

I do not do this, and I do not see how I would benefit from doing this on as a lvl 30 hunter.

I see there was a wave of people banned for buying gold (posted on twitter). I am nervous I was banned by accident in this, not sure why but I am browsing this site top to bottem for answers.
Reasons that prove I did not buy gold, or attempt to sell my gold:

I have NEVER asked to buy gold, talked to anyone ingame about buying it from them, or soliciting services. My name or account name should of never been flagged in anything to do with this.

I was GIVEN 170 gold, this is not a common increment, I double gold sellers advertise $5 for 170 gold.
It was given to me in game, not mailed to me.
I only have 170 gold, honestly, I need quite a bit more than that for some BoE epics or an Epic mount.

I did never advertise to sell my gold, or advertise that I even had some gold. I also would seriously never trust receiving money from someone online. Odds are its some frauded account by some hacker, cause seriously, would a legit player come on a private WoW vanilla emulator to be a nice guy?

I have seen spam for a website item4gold.com. Checked their prices; no way could I have purchased 170 gold, they don't sell it like that.

Another reason: I am Canadian. For me to spend real life money online I get a 0.71 transfer rate. That is the worst, especially being as we make about the same as an average american.
