how come 99% of the banned guys are from china guilds? even on the pictures attached to the forum, its the sad reality and how in this situation YOU CAN call out a whole collective for behaving in a certain way. absolutely agree.

I agree this is good, but I still feel bad for the legit players who may have lost their account (thread from gammelgor and OSA)

They still have to do reviews on this mess. I'm sure there will be some bans that are overturned. But, honestly, this was such an obvious exploit. It may be very cut and dry from the staff. I guess we will see.

Yeah. If you picked the same flower like 3 times, realized it's a bug, deleted the herbs, and ticketed a GM, then I can see scenarios like that (case-by-case personal reviews that'll take days to weeks to process) resulting in unbans.

Scenario:

"Go through automated checkout line at Walmart"

"Upon paying for my $30 of groceries with a $40 bill, I am surprised the machine incorrectly gives me $50 back in change"

"I pick up a couple more items to 'buy' to test the machine again. I am now making money hand over fist!"

"Ha! Not my fault, let's abuse the system. Stupid machine, devs can pay them back"

"What?! You don't want me to shop here again? Irresponsible shop owner. The corporation is to blame!"

I dunno, seems legit.

Everyone acting like victims when they really thought that they could get away with a clear exploit of a bug.

I'm a herbalist too and as it was clear as daylight(everyone in general was talking about it), I just didn't even bother herbing. Did other things until I was 100% sure Nostalrius staff fixed it. That was my judgement and I didn't get banned.

Whoever got banned clearly exploited this bug. Nostalrius staff don't ban people just for fun.
