Ban Appeal - Attn Tyrael

Ban Appeal - Attn Tyrael

Hi,

Firstly, please compare your responses here with the two below, where you have decided to review after first deciding not to -

viewtopic.php?f=65&t=30123
viewtopic.php?f=65&t=29938&p=210199#p210199

Note - some players were waiting for GM response and never got one -
Player that DID get GM response - told to delete and they deleted.
Players that were STILL waiting for GM response - did not delete as they were to be informed.
Players that did not submit their OWN ticket as they were waiting on guild member/friends tickets t be answered - would have taken action based off that GM response.

Please note that system wide message only stated to stop all activity or risk a perm. BAN - I stopped the second this message was sent out and hearthed, logged out.

Character: Sinnee
Server: PvP

1- No exploitation has been done after 15:12 server time (time of the system announcement)

YES

2- All the exploited items must have been removed

YES, if given opportunity, read below

As above notes, the community as a whole recognises this as an issue and reacted exactly as per System or GM ticket responses. It was also Xmas so not all people had chance to await on GM response.
Personally, I had a guild member/friend awaiting their own ticket response (they never received one) and I logged out waiting to hear a result from that - I did take note of forums and nowhere did it say to Delete any items.
The system wide message DID NOT ADVISE to delete any items -if it did I would have instantly, just as I stopped my actions upon system message.
IF given the opportunity to delete these items, I would - however I was already banned before hearing back about any individuals GM response.

3- None of the items may have been traded, sold or exchanged. It includes using secondary characters as banks, trading item in the auction house, mailing the items, etc ...

YES

4- The appeal must have been posted before the 1st January 2016

YES

Please take your careful time to review this and understand the middle ground of condition 2 - as the community consensus is clear that it is not a black and white issue.

considering that the system message didn't even state to delete the items, I don't understand how it should be a requirement for a ban appeal when majority of the players never had the opportunity to delete the items as no one knew what was going on until the announcement happened in game.

1+ to what Imbaslap said, I think it is very unreasonable to expect people to delete the items if the system message didn't specify that. Personally, if I was in that situation, I wouldn't touch or do anything in fear of making the situation worse.

Greetings,

One of the requirements for a review is to have deleted all of the exploited items. You did not meet this, therefore your account will not get a review.
